Crackle announces real time analytics

Sony Pictures Television-owned streaming TV service Crackle is claiming to have raised the bar for connected analytics with real time viewing figures.

The new service is the result of a collaboration between Moat and Freewheel, integrating the former’s direct measurement technology with the latter’s ad serving monetization services.

“Providing real time viewability metrics for the most popular platform of the in-home entertainment market is a crucial next step that will allow advertisers to understand the true return on their investment with our streaming TV network,” explains René Santaella, SVP, Global Ad Strategy & Operations at Sony Pictures Television Digital Networks.
