Amazon has launched a SVOD service for children in the UK for existing Fire HD and Fire HDX customers.

Fire for Kids Unlimited lets kids explore a wealth of age-appropriate content – including videos, educational apps, and games. It is curated for children aged 3 – 10.

“Parents don’t have to spend time (and money) guessing what their kids will enjoy,” explains the firm.

TV shows featuring popular characters such as Thomas & Friends, Fireman Sam, Avengers, Mickey and Dora the Explorer. Amazon stresses that there will be no ads, and no in-app purchases, with the service.

Fire for Kids Unlimited is available for £1.99 per month, or £4.99 for a family of up to four children.
