Channels Television, one of Africa’s leading television broadcasters, has officially launched its news and current affairs station, Channels 24, in the UK.

Channels 24 brings African and international news and current affairs content – politics, business, sports, entertainment, lifestyle and health – to viewers in the UK. Viewers can find the new station on Sky Channel 575. Airing on Virgin Media and Freesat will soon follow.

Co-founder and chairman, John Momoh, comments: “We are delighted that we are able to extend our services to the UK. As the world’s fastest-growing continent, international interest in Africa is increasing. The spotlight is on our continent and Africa must rise to the occasion. Channels 24 is the world’s window on Africa”.
