NBC Nigeria selects Inview

The National Broadcasting Commission in Nigeria has appointed Inview Technology to provide the national digital TV system, comprising set-top box software and integrated broadcast services over the digital terrestrial and satellite networks in Nigeria, branded as Freeview and Freesat.

Its services include interactive advertising, push video on demand, electronic programme guide (EPG), a range of broadcasting applications such as news, public service information and audience measurement services.

“NBC are being extremely forward thinking in their planning for DSO in Nigeria,” comments Nick Markham, Chairman of Inview. “Inview’s technology allows upgraded services from launch of digital TV straight through to high end hybrid services and future proofs the Nigerian DSO platform”
