Leading Internet streaming TV service Netflix has named Spencer Wang as its new VP, Finance & Investor Relations.

Wang is a former Wall Street analyst with Credit Suisse.

“I’m excited to join Netflix,” said Wang in a statement yesterday. “This is an industry I followed closely during my time as a media & Internet equity analyst on Wall Street, and I’m looking forward to telling the Netflix story to the investment community.”

In his new role, Wang will be periodically blogging for Netflix to help investors better understand the potential in Internet TV. “With the massive change reshaping the video business, it’s great to be part of the team at the forefront of this amazing evolution,” Wang added.

This year’s TV Connect (28th – 30th April 2015 ExCel, London) sees Xavier Amatrain, Research and Engineering Director, Netflix, delivering a special keynote, while BT’s Jerome Tassel will be asking ‘Who Can Push Netflix into Check?’ Click here to download the brochure.
