BT Sport has extended its deal with MP&Silva for exclusive, live Italian top flight football until 2017/18.

The channels are the current home of exclusively live Serie A in the UK and BT Sport has signed a contract to add another three years to the current deal. BT Sport will have the rights to show up to 380 exclusively live matches a season.

“Serie A attracts some of the best players in the world and is a fantastic, competitive league featuring some of the legendary teams of European folklore, such as Juventus, AC Milan, Inter and Roma,” comments Simon Green, head of BT Sport.

From August 2015, BT Sport will begin offering its midweek, top flight football action from the UEFA Champions League and Europa League.

Alex Green, Director TV, BT, is among those from the trailblazing telco-turned-broadcaster appearing at this year’s TV Connect (28th – 30th April 2015 ExCel, London). Download the full free brochure right here.
