Premium video specialist Quickplay has announced support for Android TV, in a showcase of its Next Generation Experience Solution.

The solution provides extensive third-party developer tools as well as an Android TV reference user experience for Live and Video-on-Demand services, supporting Android set-top boxes as well as companion devices. The intuitive developer support tools enable rapid and low cost integration to the Quickplay back-end service for third-party developers and front-end software vendors.

“We built Quickplay to help providers unshackle from legacy systems and quickly scale new growth engines, like premium OTT video and IPTV to any device”, explains Wayne Purboo, CEO of Quickplay.
