The relationship between Netflix and the Breaking Bad empire grows still closer, with the enticing news that the long-awaited Breaking Bad spin-off, Better Call Saul, will be available for streaming exclusively on Monday, February 9 and Tuesday, February 10, followed by every Tuesday at 7am UK time.
Better Call Saul is being billed as the Breaking Bad prequel. Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould created the show together and serve as co-showrunners of the premiere season. The series is set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) meets Walter White. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill. The series will track Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts “criminal” in “criminal lawyer.” Vince Gilligan directed the first episode.
The Netflix original series, Better Call Saul, a 10-episode, one-hour drama with comedic elements, will be available for streaming exclusively on Netflix on Monday, February 9 and Tuesday, February 10, followed by every Tuesday at 7am UK time.
Xavier Amatrain, Research and Engineering Director, Netflix, will be appearing at this year’s TV Connect (28th – 30th April 2015 ExCel, London). Click here to download the full, free brochure.
