BT launches “most significant savings ever” on broadband

Leading UK telco and broadcaster BT today unveiled three new broadband package deals for new customers.

The packages start from £4.75 a month for a 12-month contract for BT broadband – a saving of up to 63% that BT calls its “most significant savings ever”.

“We are giving consumers a choice of our biggest ever broadband deals to suit every lifestyle, with savings of up to 63 per cent over 12 months,” comments David McDonald, director of Broadband, TV & Sport Bundles, BT Consumer. These deals include everything, from our superfast fibre optic broadband to free BT Sport, so customers can enjoy great savings and amazing value.”

BT’s Starter Pack includes BT Infinity, BT TV, YouView, BT Sport and Netflix. BT TV customers can sign up for Netflix alongside BT’s other products and services, with the added convenience of paying for them all in just one bill, directly through BT.

The deals bring an end (just about) to a busy and successful year for BT: indeed, the telco was highlighted as an industry winner in IP&TV News’ own year-end wrap-up.
