Sony reveals cost as PlayStation TV nears US launch

Sony has confirmed that PlayStation TV will go on sale in the US for $99.99 on October 14.

Already available in Japan, PlayStation TV – Sony’s addition to the crowded streaming market – gives access to a selection of PS Vita, PSP, and PS One games, and also allows users to access saved movies, TV shows, and music: Sony says the PlayStation TV box  will carry 22 channels from the Viacom stable.

PlayStation TV has an internal storage capacity of 1 GB, expandable via memory card.
