Freeview in talks for “new catch-up service”

In an exclusive interview published today on IP&TV News, Freeview head of marketing Owen Jenkinson reveals how the ground-breaking UK digital free TV platform is in discussions with its supply chain to launch a “new connected offer that promises to bring catch-up TV on the TV for a whole new audience.”

Perhaps alluding to the same embryonic service (?), Jenkinson later discusses “a new connected service from Freeview” that will “inevitably present some opportunities to capitalise on more targeted advertising opportunities.”
