Brian O’Driscoll joins BT Sport scrum

In the latest celebrity signing for the telco-turned-broadcaster’s flagship channel, BT Sport has announced that Brian O’Driscoll will be joining the BT Sport team as a rugby presenter.

O’Driscoll, who retired last month as Leinster took the RaboDirect Pro 12 trophy for the fourth time, is one of rugby’s all-time greats. His main role for BT Sport will be as a rugby expert on coverage of the newly formed European Rugby Champions Cup and European Rugby Challenge Cup, he will also appear on BT Sport’s weekly Rugby Show – Rugby Tonight.

BT Sport has the exclusively live rights to Aviva Premiership Rugby and the JP Morgan rugby sevens, plus rights to top live matches from the European Rugby Champions Cup and European Rugby Challenge Cup.
