illico iPad app coming to Videotron

Videotron today unveiled the new version of its illico app for the iPad, a Canadian first conceived and developed in Québec.

The completely revamped and transformed iPad app is meant to change how users access television programming. The timing of its release on Videotron’s 50th anniversary is particularly apt: 50 years of innovation that have made Videotron the Québec leader in entertainment and technology.

“As everyone knows, innovation is in Videotron’s DNA,” says Manon Brouillette, President and CEO of Videotron. “Putting our customers in the driver’s seat, anticipating their needs, adapting to their lifestyle and pace – that is our daily challenge. We put ourselves in the user’s shoes in order to develop this revolutionary iPad app that provides a brand new way of accessing on-screen entertainment content.”
