Google Play Movies hits 21 new countries

Google Play Movies is adding more supported countries to its increasingly  sizeable list. Earlier this year, Google added over 40 countries to the places where Google Play Movies can be used. Now it is adding 21 more.

The list is as follows: Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

International copyright law will make sure that the availability list for rentals and downloads will be variable from one country to the next. But this new list – which is bringing support to predominantly European countries – will make sure that the service is now available to a wider audience, provided of course that they update their PlayMovies app.
