Sky Go and NOW TV to join PlayStation4 this summer

Sky and Sony Computer Entertainment UK have struck an agreement to make Sky Go and NOW TV available on PlayStation4 (PS4). Customers will be able to watch NOW TV on the PS4 from this summer with Sky Go becoming available later this year.

The deal means NOW TV customers will be able to connect their PS4 to their TV and home Wi-Fi to watch NOW TV content on their main TV as part of their subscriptions. Meanwhile Sky TV customers will be able to watch TV from Sky Go on a PlayStation3 (PS3) or PS4 for the first time.

“More and more consumers are demanding easy access to a greater choice of high-quality entertainment over internet-connected devices,” says Luke Bradley-Jones, Sky’s Brand Director of TV Products. “Sky is committed to helping customers access our great content, whenever and wherever they want. This deal is yet another example of that.  The agreement with Sony is great news for millions of Sky TV customers who can look forward to using Sky Go on their PlayStation 3 or PS4 for the first time.”
