FIC & CANAL+ seal deal for Wayward Pines

CANAL+ is getting the exclusive first-window pay-TV rights for the the M. Night Shyamalan thriller Wayward Pines series. The channel joins the day and date global launch planned by FOX International Channels during the 2014-15 broadcast season.

“We’re very excited to bring Wayward Pines to French audiences with CANAL+,” says Simon Thomas, executive VP of content sales. “On the heels of L.A. Screenings, this sale is an early indicator of the success it will achieve worldwide. As both the broadcaster and sales arm for the series, we’re thrilled to add such an important market to its global footprint.”
