TV Connect 2014: BBC set to reveal future of iPlayer

This week saw the BBC unveil their new version of the iPlayer for the web and for TV, and now it has been announced that Dan Taylor, Head of iPlayer, is set to expand on the vision behind this update in a keynote address on Day 3 (20th March, 9:05) of next week’s TV Connect.

The new iPlayer has been designed for a multiscreen world, so the experience is consistent, but optimised across PC, tablet, mobile and TV devices, and the Corporation has built it in such a way that they can rapidly develop and release new features across those four screens.
