X-news lines up TVP content for viewers

As of February 5th the x-news online service, owned by TVN Media, which provides Polish publishers with video content, will include TVP-produced news stories from the following public television channels: TVP1, TVP2, TVP Info and TVP Regionalna. The content will cover political, social and economic affairs from home and abroad. X-news will also distribute clips from morning TV shows, as well as a selection of entertainment videos and TV series aired on TVP.

The partners of the x-link online video platform will be free to publish video content of up to 3 minutes long online and in mobile services for information purposes. The content can be embedded onto websites using the x-link player. The TVP (public broadcaster) content will be available according to general rules for the business relationship at no extra charge for all online publishers using the x-link player.

Maciej Maciejowski, Member of the Management Board in charge of New Business Development at TVN, says: “TVN Media’s cooperation with TVP (as well as other partners) allows to aggregate the entire video content that covers national and global news. One spot – the x-news online service becomes the complete source of quality video for publishers. We are consistently consolidating our market position as the top supplier of short video clips for the media.”
