Vodafone bids for ONO

According to unnamed sources cited in the Spanish business daily Expansion, Vodafone has made a formal bid of around EUR 6.9 billion for Spanish cable operator ONO, the Spanish broadband communication and entertainment company.

The offer will be apparently studied at ONO’s 11 February board meeting.
