Civolution showcase new content protection at CABSAT

Civolution, the leading provider of technology and solutions for identifying, managing and monetizing content, will showcase its latest deployments in the region for its NexGuard media protection and SyncNow media interaction solutions at Cabsat 2014 (stand D10 at the Content Media Hub). Visitors to the stand will be able to delve into the latest developments in watermarking and fingerprinting technologies.

“The Middle Eastern media landscape is rapidly changing. PayTV services are experiencing strong double digit growth and revenues are expected to climb over 80% by 2020, according to recent research by Digital TV Europe. But with this opportunity comes with a growing threat: content piracy is rampant in the region’’, says Andy Nobbs, CMO, Civolution. ‘’We also see a significant number of innovative cross-screen applications and consumer engagement platforms being implemented. Our demonstrations at CABSAT will show operators, broadcasters, content owners and advertisers how content identification can provide solutions to secure content on one hand but also track it and interact with it, driving immersive experiences and boosting monetization. We are relentlessly innovating to stay at the forefront of developments in a quickly changing industry.”
