Three new Discovery channels for UPC

UPC will add three new channels from Discovery Networks its TV packages, according to a statement.

As of December 5, Discovery Shed, Discovery Turbo and Quest will be on offer, giving customers a greater variety of factual entertainment across genres such as adventure, auction, turbo, home  improvement, natural history and engineering.

“We’re delighted that we can strengthen our package of non-fiction channels,” says Shane Loughrey Grant,  UPC’s content delivery manager. “Viewers of Discovery have an insatiable curiosity to find out new things. The addition of these three great new channels will provide a window into interesting subjects and  industries and will no doubt prove very popular with Irish audiences.”
