Time Life Channel launched on Roku

Time Life, the industry leader in documercials, has delved further into the digital platform with the launch of the Time Life Channel on Roku this past October.  The free 24/7 channel offers the company’s entertaining brand of nostalgic commercials in both a live stream and on demand.  Also featured on the channel, powered by TelVue’s CloudCast broadcasting solution, are exclusive on demand bonus content including cast reunions, behind-the-scenes interviews and special performances.

“We’re excited to make our unique brand of documercials available to millions of viewers anytime,” says Mitchell Peyser, VP and Executive Producer at Time Life. “For years, we’ve been creating nostalgic entertainment based on classic music and television offerings and, subsequently, our marketplace success has made such a channel possible.”

Time Life is the leading producer of long and short-form entertainment in the direct response category.  And given their current viewership measured by Rentrak ratings and sales, the company say they have recognized the opportunity to broaden their reach and make their documercials available anytime on a dedicated channel.
