CanalDigitaal owner acquires T-Mobile broadband activities

T-Mobile Netherlands has decided to sell its fixed broadband activities to CDS Group, the owner of satellite pay-TV provider CanalDigitaal.

Euronet , the holding company for the T-Mobile activities that  serves around 270,000 customers, will remain an independent company alongside CanalDigitaal, which will reportedly continue to work with KPN wholesale and its brand Telfort for fixed-line services while the integration is developed.

“With Euronet in the Netherlands we can expand and improve our wired internet and telephony offers,” says  Roderick Palaces of the CDS Group. No financial details of the takeover were disclosed.
