Fair play to the good people at Streaming Media! Who have taken the trouble to compile their third One Hundred Companies that Matter Most in Online Video list. Having already decided to “narrow the focus” for last year’s, excluding (some might say controversially!) broadcasters that had moved into online video, so as to concentrate on those for whom “online video is in their DNA,” this year saw them become even more exacting, and focus “exclusively on the technology companies that enable content creators and publishers to innovate and build their audiences.”
Here, anyhow, is the list itself. (In alphabetical order, a bit disappointingly.) Go check it out. What do we think?
