Comcast host “Impressions Everywhere” event in Philadelphia

On Thursday, November 7, Comcast Spotlight Philadelphia will be hosting an educational media event at the Comcast Center in Philadelphia.  The purpose of this event is to discuss the ever-changing way that media is being consumed.  TV viewers can watch what they want, where they want, when they want. This fragmented viewing offers new opportunities for advertisers to reach targeted audiences.

Comcast Spotlight has invited a wide-range of media experts to join in the conversation of ‘Impressions Everywhere.’ Marcien Jenckes, EVP of Comcast Consumer Services, will be the keynote speaker presenting on the vast ways Comcast is developing strategies to reach viewers across all devices and how that impacts advertisers. Representatives from comScore and ESPN will also be in attendance and will speak to the collaborative study their companies worked on following audience behaviours.

Comcast Spotlight has additionally secured a panel of experts from Nielsen, MediaVest, Comcast Media 360 and the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) who will have an interactive discussion on what ‘Impressions Everywhere’ means to advertisers, agencies and brands and how it affects business.  This event will conclude with top leaders from Civis Analytics sharing their groundbreaking work on audience measurement and targeting for the 2012 Obama Campaign.

This forum will be the third of its kind hosted by Comcast Spotlight Philadelphia and is designed to further promote their ongoing effort to educate the media community on the evolving ways consumers view media and how this influences advertising buying. Comcast Spotlight is focused on moving the advertising industry forward through advanced technologies, innovative products and ongoing engagement of thought leaders in the ever growing dialogue of advertising impressions.
