TV Everywhere for Verizon Viewers

Verizon has made a new TV Everywhere app available for its FiOS TV customers, enabling them to tune into video-on-demand and linear content while out of the house.

“The FiOS Mobile App has a wide variety of content choice for all ages and interests,” said Maitreyi Krishnaswamy, director of FiOS TV’s consumer video services, “from the do-it-yourselfer to the moviegoer, and this is just the beginning.  Close collaboration with content and software partners allows us to deliver a seamless customer experience, which will become even better as the content choices grow over time.”

TV Everywhere will be available via an enhanced FiOS Mobile App, and the available channels will feature EPIX, NFL Network, Tennis Channel BBC America, BBC World News, and others, while film fans can enjoy over 45,000 Flex View titles. Thousands of free and subscription-on-demand content will similarly be available, from brands such as Cinemax, Starz , HBO, Encore and the Travel Channel.

Furthermore, FiOS customers in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., can use their tablets and mobile phones to also watch local news and weather at home on the local affiliates of ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox and Spanish-language channels such as UniMas and Univision.
