Slingbox 350 slung on UK market

Sling Media is launching the Slingbox 350 in the UK and Europe, and will be available to customers from Friday 27th September.

This new Slingbox, we understand, is a new, entirely redesigned product to the one introduced exclusively to the US market. Nonetheless, the essence of each is of course the same, with the Slingbox 350 enabling viewers to extend their living room experience in top notch HD by connecting Slingbox 350 to their home entertainment sources and henceforth tuning into their favourite standard-definition or high-definition TV shows, sporting events or special programs on their PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone over the Internet, from anywhere in the world.

“Slingbox is the best way to extend the entire living room television experience anywhere, and we’re very pleased to bring this new model to European customers,” says Michael Hawkey, Sling Media’s vice president and general manager. “We’ve redesigned Slingbox from the ground up, creating one of the highest performing products on the market. With this new product introduction, Sling Media continues to evolve and disrupt the category we created.”

The Slingbox 350 offers Sling Media’s highest quality, proven “TV Anywhere” technology at a cost-effective price. The Slingbox 350 features HD-quality viewing on compatible devices, making it a value leader. The sleek, industrial design combined with integrated IR emitters makes it a compact, unique and easy-to-use addition to any home entertainment centre. The Slingbox 350 replaces the Slingbox SOLO and joins the Slingbox PRO-HD as the two models available in the European market.
