German regional telco EWE TEL has chosen video quality assurance expert Agama DTV to provide a monitoring solution for the quality assurance of its IPTV service.
EWE TEL, which has almost 600,000 customers in northern Germany, hopes that Agama’s refined head-end and network monitoring will help its operations will become more effective and improve user experience.
EWE TEL’s operations of multimedia apps and server manager Jörn Seemann said: “As a high-performing service provider, we need to provide our customers with the best viewing experience possible.

EWE TEL’s IPTV service is available for a wide range of devices, including TVs, PCs, tablets and smartphones.
