NBCUniversal relaunches PictureBox in UK and Ireland

The international arm of US network NBCUniversal today relaunched its subscription VOD service PictureBox Films in the UK and Ireland following a major redesign and rebrand of the website.

The service costs GB£ 4.99 (US$ 8) per month for access to 60 carefully chosen films on a range of connected devices, including Samsung Smart TVs, PCs/Macs, tablets and smart phones.

Film currently available on the site include The Eagle, The American, Bridget Jones’ Diary, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Jarhead and The Bourne Identity.

The service was originally launched in 2006 and is also available in Poland, Russia, Latin America, Brazil and Singapore via local platform providers.
