Fox teams with Twitter to promote shows

US network Fox Broadcasting has partnered with Twitter to promote its programmes and give advertisers new ways to reach audiences as they discuss shows on the social network.

Fox plans to use Twitter to deliver clips of upcoming shows and highlights of live events, while advertisers will use Twitter’s advertising platform to coordinate campaigns around this content and reach new audiences.

Announcing the partnership yesterday (May 13th) at its upfront presentation to advertisers and media buyers in New York City, Fox indicated that it plans to start using Twitter promotions this summer and extend them to the full broadcasting lineup in the autumn.
