LoveFilm signs Warner Bros. TV shows

European over-the-top (OTT) video service LoveFilm has signed what its describes as a milestone deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD) to bring a range of premium shows to its instant streaming service.

TV shows covered by the deal include Emmy award-winning presidential drama ‘The West Wing’, all nine seasons of acclaimed US teen series ‘One Tree Hill’, every season made of Golden Globe winner ‘Nip Tuck’, and sci-fi spin off ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’.

Amazon-owned LoveFilm is available in a number of major European markets including the UK, Germany and Scandinavia, and has already signed a number of key content deals this year, including with NBCUniversal, the BBC and Channel 4.
