AT&T adds 232k U-verse TV subs

US telco AT&T enjoyed its best quarter for IPTV net adds in two years during the three months to March 2013, adding 232k subscribers in the period to reach a total of 4.8mn.

The company also saw its best total broadband net adds for two years, adding 731,000 subscribers in the period, and drove its total wireline broadband ARPU up more than 9% year-on-year.

Total consolidated revenues and net profits across all operations for the first quarter of this year remained stable at US$ 31bn and US$ 3.7bn, respectively.
