Vubiquity on the hunt for a new CEO

Ramu Potarazu, CEO of US firm Vubiquity – until recently known as Avail-TVN – has indicated his intention to transition to the role of vice chairman on the board of directors, and will join investor Columbia Capital as a venture partner.

This means that Vubiquity will be in need of a new CEO from April 1st, and Potarazu’s duties will be handled until then by a group consisting of company president Doug Sylvester, CFO Bill Arendt, and chairman of the board Phil Herget.

Over the course of seven years, Potarazu has led the company through five acquisitions (including UK-based On Demand Group) and the raising of US$ 100mn to fund its global expansion.
