Singapore’s MediaCorp enlists Tvinci for new OTT service

Singaporean media company MediaCorp has chosen Israeli firm Tvinci to power its new over-the-top (OTT) video service ‘Toggle’, due for launch in the first quarter of this year.

The new service will be powered by Tvinci’s backend and will be available on a range of connected devices including PCs, iPhones, iPads and connected TVs.

It will be available as both a subscription service and as a pay-per-view service, offering both linear and VOD programming, and access to a library of over 1,000 hours of content.

MediaCorp plans to bring the service to other international markets in future, but did not say which.
