Spain’s adds Disney films to Premium Plan

Spanish over-the-top (OTT) video service has signed an agreement with Disney Spain to add a selection of Disney and Pixar films to its Premium Plan.

Titles covered by the agreement include hit films like ‘Wall-E’, ‘Cars’, ‘Toy Story’, ‘Ratatouille’ and ‘The Incredibles’, classic cartoons like ‘Dumbo’ and ‘Pocahontas’, and live-action movies such as ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’. charges €6.99 per month for its Premium Plan, which offers a wide selection of films and TV series, including ‘Breaking Bad’, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘Lost’, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and ‘Men in Black’.

The service is available in Spain on a range of Internet-connected devices including PCs, iOS and Android devices, smart TVs from Samsung, LG, Panasonic and Philips, and the Xbox 360. was acquired Japanese e-commerce giant Rakuten last June for an unspecified amount, enabling Rakuten to enter the Spanish market directly for the first time.
