LG adds Viaway media service to smart TVs

US firm Viaway has sealed an agreement with Korean electronics manufacturer LG to launch the Viaway Internet media service on LG’s smart TVs and Blu-ray players, offering a selection of streaming content in many languages.

The Viaway app is already available on LG’s Cinema 3D Smart TV models and will be brought to LG Blu-ray players at some point in the near future. It is already available on smart TVs from Samsung and Panasonic, digital media receivers from Roku, smartphones and tablets, PCs and Macs.

Viaway seeks to establish unique content partnerships with international and ethnic TV networks, filmmakers and various content producers across the world, in order to offer new ways to explore and enjoy different cultures.
