Bouygues Telecom to deploy Pace gateway software in 1.3mn French homes

Pace software will power all new BBox Sensation gateways

French telco Bouygues Telecom is to install new gateway software from UK firm Pace across all of its new ‘BBox Sensation’ broadband gateways, enabling the telco to remotely manage and provision services across its footprint.

Pace’s hardware-agnostic Helium Unified Gateway Software will also be deployed in legacy gateway devices within the telco’s footprint, reaching a total of 1.3mn homes across France.

The UK firm will also provide integration, training and consulting services, enabling Bouygues to have full control and autonomy over the platform and roll out service updates in the future.

The deployment is expected to be competed by the end of this year.
