Wholesale IPTV service coming to Switzerland

Swiss telco Netstream has developed a wholesale IPTV service offering for service providers across the country, including catch-up TV, pause live TV, nPVR and VOD.

The service is based on a Distributed Video Delivery Network (D-VDN) framework from Swedish firm Edgeware, and has already been successfully deployed by one of Switzerland´s largest broadband and mobile service providers.

Netstream’s wholesale IPTV solution is based on Edgeware´s proven Orbit-2X IPTV platform, which was provided in cooperation with Swiss distributor Adrenio.
