Belgian telco Belgacom has added four new linear channels to its TV Everywhere service, with a further two scheduled to arrive by the end of the month.
The channels vtm, 2BE, Vitaya and vtmKzoom have already been added to the service, and the channels JIM and anne will be added at the end of June, bringing the total available on the service to 30.
The TV Everywhere service was launched in July of last year and is available to subscribers of its managed IPTV service ‘Belgacom TV’ on mobile devices and PCs/Macs.
So far, more than 260,000 customers have downloaded the application for their Android or iOS mobile devices.
Existing channels available on the service are: vtm, 2BE, Vitaya, vtmKzoom, één, Canvas, Ketnet, VT4, VIJFtv, Acht, Eurosport (nl&fr), Belgacom 5 (basket/nl&fr), Nickelodeon Junior (nl&fr), RTL-TVI, Club RTL, Plug RTL, AB3, AB4, Trace, LCI, MCM POP, Tiji and Canal J, and Belgacom Zoom (nl&fr).
Belgacom added 43,000 subscribers for its IPTV service in the first quarter of this year to reach 1.254mn, after launching its service back in 2005.

The country’s TV market is however dominated by cable operators Telenet and VOO, which together account for around 80% of the country’s 4.5mn TV households.
