Telenor signs CDN accord with Jet-Stream

Norwegian telco Telenor has signed an agreement with Dutch firm Jet-Stream for the latter to provide a new management system for its Content Delivery Network (CDN).

Jet-Stream will assist with deployment of the telco’s new CDN, and with migrating customers from the existing platform to the new one, which uses the latest adaptive bit rate streaming technologies.

Jet-Stream’s CDN management software offers advanced distribution and request routing technologies, improving the reliability of the Telenor CDN, and also provides content publishers with a rich self service portal and powerful APIs, so that they can fully integrate their digital media workflow.
